In today's busy world, yogic sleep may be the essential tool for rejuvenation. Yoga Nidra is a systematic form of guided relaxation typically done reclined (in Savasana). The term Yoga Nidra is best summed up as "yogic sleep," which in practical terms refers to the deepest state of rest possible (complete effortlessness), combined with awareness.
The workshop will begin with a short introduction and some gentle movement and stretches. You then simply rest on your back while you are guided through steps that lead to ever-deeper states of relaxation. Please bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes, dress in layers. You may bring a pillow and/or an eye pillow to cover your eyes (optional).
